Lady Musgrave Island is the stunning jewel of the Southern Great Barrier Reef, surrounded by its own fringing coral reef and sparkling lagoon. A full day trip to Lady Musgrave includes a guided tour of the island (look for nesting white-capped noddy terns in the trees and nesting turtles on the beach), a ride on the glass-bottomed boat where the friendly crew will point out all their favourite sites and marine characters and an afternoon of snorkeling in warm tropical waters. All that plus lunch and snacks all day and the chance to see breaching whales during the cruise to and from the island.
