Leaving the big city doesn’t mean you have to leave behind your hobbies anymore! The Blooming Barrel is your one stop location for Trading Card Games, Board Games, Puzzles and all-round good times with community, creativity and fun at the forefront.
The owners, Mitch and Kaitie are avid collectors and players of various TCGs, board games and table top games, so understand the desire for nice places to browse through stacks of cards, build decks and play games with your family and friends, even when you’re on holiday.
As all great lounge rooms are; The Blooming Barrel is a welcoming, beautiful space, purpose built with comfort, community and gaming in mind. Here you can not only purchase your cards and games but also meet with friends (and make some new ones at the same time), complete some of the community puzzle, play games from the Games Library or spend unhurried time on the comfy couches browsing cards. With monthly events such as trade nights, learn to play/paint sessions and board game nights, we hope you feel at home here.

Games Library:
For a small fee, gain all day access to any of the games in the Games Library to be played in store.
$5 per person OR $15 per family (incl. 1-2 adults & 2-4 kids under 12yo)
Children under 8 play for free

- Learn to Play: Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering
- Learn to Paint: Warhammer (and similar) Miniatures
- Organised TCG competitions
- Organised Warhammer games
- Board Game nights
