The kids will never be bored during school holidays at 1770 & Agnes Water. this is why:
They can Learn how to Surf
Did you know Main Beach at Agnes Water is the most northerly surf beach on Australia’s east coast? So, it would be remiss not to take to the waves. Hire boards or learn to surf with Stylez Surf School.
They can paddle standing up
1770 SUP is the place to hire stand-up paddle boards or if you’ve never been on one they are happy to teach you.
or sitting down
Alternatively, grab a kayak and discover the creek at 1770 with 1770 Liquid Adventures. You can even join them for a spectacular sunset paddle.
they can pat a kanga
Get up close and personal with a kangaroo at Horizons Kangaroo Sanctuary. Give them a bell on 07 4974 7783 to arrange a time.
they can roll wheels
Hit the concrete (please, not literally) at the Agnes Water Skate Park or hire a bike from us at Discover 1770 & Agnes Water.
they can go bush
Discover traditional bush tucker and medicine with a BushTracks Tour (and they’ll thrown in a native-foods inspired smoko).
they can eat lots of ice cream
A beach holiday wouldn’t be complete without ice-cream and luckily we have some of the best at 1770 Gelato.
they can join organised activities
If you’re looking for organised activities may we suggest the Heart of Agnes Youth program where the kids can join workshops and activities in anything from photography and horse care to art therapy and outdoor cinema. Or you could check out holiday programs at the Agnes Water Library and with Gladstone Council.
