You’ll find all the facilities you expect from a backpackers (including 24hr laundry, free wifi, tea, coffee, cooking facilities and BBQs) only a five minute walk to shops and beaches. Stick around for movie and party nights or take advantage of scenic flights, boat trips and surf lessons – all available at the hostel.

Beachside Backpackers 1770 is your family-friendly YHA hostel, with a 200m walk through sub-tropical rainforest direct to the beach. Choose from mixed or female-only dorms or private rooms, walk to the Agnes Water town centre, enjoy onsite yoga classes and hire surfboards and bikes. Feeling hungry? Well, the on-site Island Style Café offers Mexican-themed food and a there’s a popular coffee cart right on your doorstep!
